How it is evaluated
Diagnosis is usually clinical. An unusual, bleeding, rapidly changing or treatment-resistant lesion may need further evaluation or biopsy.
What treatment may involve
Treatment depends on location, size, number and patient preference. Options can include topical medicines, cryotherapy or other procedures. Some warts resolve spontaneously, but treatment may reduce symptoms and spread.
